The Holtop Air Handling Unit (AHU) Integrated Modular Air-Cooled Chiller (Heat Pump) is an innovative integrated air treatment solution that efficiently combines an air handling unit with a modular air-cooled chiller (heat pump). Its air-cooling technology reduces reliance on the cooling water system and lowers installation and maintenance costs. The heat pump function enables efficient two-way operation for both cooling and heating, making it especially suitable for commercial buildings, industrial plants, and similar facilities. It delivers an energy-saving, stable, and intelligent one-stop air treatment experience.
Holtop air-cooled chillers are the result of more than twenty years of research and development, technology accumulation, and manufacturing experience. This expertise has produced chillers with stable and reliable performance and greatly improved evaporator and condenser heat transfer efficiency. The result is an optimal choice for saving energy, protecting the environment, and achieving a comfortable air conditioning system.
Each unit is designed with more than 10 safety protection functions, ensuring all-round protection for both the chiller unit and the overall system during operation. A multi-variable monitoring system controls the unit to guarantee stable and efficient performance.
The chiller unit is suitable for operation across a wide outdoor temperature range, from -20°C to 48°C.
A single unit is designed with multiple compressors for enhanced reliability and part-load efficiency.
The chiller adopts a modular combination design and does not require a designated master or sub-master unit, simplifying system expansion and installation.
All units start in steps to lower the starting current, reduce the shock to the power grid, and avoid affecting the security of other electrical equipment.
By sensing with the multi-variable system, the chiller makes accurate judgments on frosting conditions and selects the optimal time to enter or exit defrosting, avoiding insufficient or excessive defrosting. In a duplex system, units can achieve alternate defrosting. When heating under extreme low-temperature conditions, manual defrosting can be set for better performance.
A standard RS485 building communication interface provides open access to the standard ModBus communication protocol. The device can be easily connected to the building control system (BAS) for centralized control, enabling intelligent control, avoiding unnecessary energy waste, and saving air-conditioning operating costs.
The integrated control architecture supports centralized monitoring and intelligent management of the entire air treatment system.
