Product Description
Product Overview: HFW-65HA1-R Fully Heat-Recovery Air-Cooled Heat Pump Chiller

The Holtop HFW-65HA1-R fully heat-recovery air-cooled heat pump chiller combines high-efficiency cooling with innovative heat energy recovery technology. Utilizing advanced air-cooling design, the unit eliminates the need for a complex cooling water system, making installation flexible and maintenance straightforward. Its stable, reliable performance and environmentally friendly, energy-saving advantages make it an ideal solution for commercial buildings and industrial sites seeking efficient energy conservation.

Key Features & Technical Advantages

  • Advanced total heat recovery design: The unit adds a casing heat recovery heat exchanger on the basis of modular air-cooled heat pump chiller development, enabling simultaneous cooling and hot water production.
  • Precision multi-valve control: Adopts double four-way valve + diaphragm check valve + double electronic expansion control valve + multi-solenoid valve control technology, ensuring stable and efficient operation across all five modes with almost no attenuation.
  • High IPLV efficiency: Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) reaches as high as 7.4, delivering outstanding part-load energy performance.
  • 100% waste heat reuse: Refrigeration total heat recovery utilizes 100% of the heat released during the refrigerant condensation and exothermic process to prepare hot water, realizing waste heat reuse and reducing condensing heat pollution to the environment.
  • Reduced fan power & noise: Heat recovery operation lowers cooling fan power consumption and unit noise levels.
  • Independent winter hot water mode: Unlike some heat recovery units, the total heat recovery module can run the heat pump hot water heating mode alone in winter, meeting hot water demand without additional equipment and greatly reducing initial engineering investment.
  • Year-round adaptability: Perfectly adapts to the changing demand for air conditioning and hot water across different seasons and locations.
Operating Principle & System Description
Holtop total heat recovery air-cooled heat pump chiller internal system and heat recovery schematic

Refrigeration total heat recovery works by capturing 100% of the heat released during the condensation and exothermic process of the refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle to prepare hot water. This achieves reuse of waste heat, reduces condensing heat pollution to the environment, and lowers the cooling fan power consumption and noise of the unit.

Compared with conventional heat recovery units, the total heat recovery module unit can operate the heat pump hot water heating mode independently in winter, satisfying hot water demand without adding other hot water equipment. This greatly reduces the initial investment of engineering equipment and perfectly adapts to the year-round changing demand for air conditioning and hot water in different places.
