Holtop's Shijiazhuang branch has been selected as the HVAC provider for the new Infection Building and Inpatient Building at Yu County People's Hospital, a key public health initiative in Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. This project, representing Holtop's 66th major contract in 2025, involves the supply and integration of 929 sets of specialized ventilation and control equipment. The deployment of Holtop's digital intelligent system is designed to create a safer, more efficient healthcare environment, directly supporting the hospital's mission to enhance medical service quality and patient care.
The core challenge was to design an environmental control system for a modern medical facility that must simultaneously:
Holtop's Digital Intelligence Solution
Holtop engineered a comprehensiveDigitally-Controlled Smart Fresh Air System, forming the hospital's "respiratory management" backbone for safety and efficiency. The integrated solution features:
· Digitally Controlled Smart Fresh Air Handling Units:Serve as the central air quality and conditioning hubs.
· High-Static-Pressure Intelligent Airflow Regulation Modules:Ensure stable, precise pressure gradients are maintained between critical zones.
· Power-Distributed Adaptive Ventilation Modules:Enable localized, responsive control for optimal air distribution and energy use.
· Key Technical Advantages & Value Delivered
· Hierarchical Airflow Management for Safety
· The system's intelligent control modules automatically and continuously regulate airflow to establish a clear, multi-layer air pressure cascade. This creates a defined and controlled directional airflow from clean to less clean areas, significantly minimizing the risk of airborne pathogen diffusion and cross-infection, which is paramount in infection wards and general inpatient areas.
· Demand-Based Ventilation & Energy Recovery
· The system dynamically adjusts fresh air volume and conditioning based on real-time occupancy and air quality sensor data. Coupled with high-efficiency energy recovery technology, it captures thermal energy from exhaust air to pre-condition incoming fresh air, drastically reducing the heating and cooling load and lowering overall energy consumption.
· Centralized Digital Control & Monitoring
· All components are integrated into a unified Building Management System (BMS) platform. This allows facility managers to monitor system performance in real-time, receive automated fault alerts, and adjust zone parameters remotely, ensuring optimal operation and simplifying maintenance.
